This year's Springwood Foundation Day on Saturday, March 27 was once again the major community participation event in the lower mountains.

Many performers entertained the 35,000 strong crowds on a perfect day weather-wise, with four stages delivering a feast of local and visiting talent.

Once again none of this would have been possible without the hard work of the many volunteers who help make the day a success and the active support of Blue Mountains City Council.

As in the past, fantastic support was also provided from local SES and RFS teams, St John's ambulance and senior students from local High Schools.

Planning for our next Foundation Day, on Saturday 2 April 2011, has already commenced and we're confident it will continue the long standing tradition of a fun family day.

Online copies of application forms for stall holders, entertainers and parade participants will be made available on this website closer to the time.
